The gastronomic contest of Universidad ESAN allows the international students to present foods from their country, and share their culinary culture with Peruvian students. In the form of a contest, it is aimed exclusively at international undergraduate students of Universidad ESAN. In groups of 2 or 3, students will prepare a national dish of their home country, which will be tasted by national students and a panel of professional chefs. The chefs will decide the winner of the competition, based on factors such as taste, texture, presentation and originality etc. In recent years, the prizes for the winners of the contest have included buffets and dinners at luxurious hotels in Lima.
